This American Empire Chest of Drawers is in great need of restoration. The chest was made around 1830 probably in New York. We will have to remove an incorrect finish, do a number of repairs and replace the shellac which would have been the first surface. We will post some progress pictures in the near future. The difference in appearance will be striking!
